On September 18th, 1999 (no particular reason for this date), the #1 song was Unpretty by TLC
While the #1 song of the year was Cher's Believe
The world was enamored by Jar Jar Binks
Baggy clothes, especially denim, were IN
Two toys tied for the hottest Christmas gift of the year: Pokemon and Furby Babies
The Toyota Camry sold 422,000 units
And the world was prepping for a possible apocalypse
Time flies. To think all these things happened 20 years ago is pretty incredible. It feels like a lifetime.
