A Time To Kill

First, imagine that a school had a 4 year long complete exploratory exam conducted on it and the end result found that some boosters had given benefits to various student-athletes totaling an average of a few thousand dollars a year.
Now imagine that it's your school...
Would you really feel that bad?
Hell no. You would wipe your forehead and let out a big "whew"... Now you can understand why we Rebels are not sad about any of this.
None of your schools would survive the 4 year colonoscopy with white gloves either!
Maybe now, perhaps, you can understand why we are not saddened as many of you seem to wish we were.

Is this the bargaining stage?

Did you miss the part of impermissible benefits being a new investigation?

Did yall have flow charts, a several hundred page thread, and found to have done nothing wrong (and subsequently have the mods whack every thread started about the acquittal)? NCAA had a damn office in Auburn. frick off and bend over.

I don't even know which melt stage this is, but it's phenomenal

ask yourself why the NCAA isn't at other schools for that long?
Because they're not investigating a multitude of Level I infractions involving three different sports.

I don't understand the title.

Yeah, because it's not like the AD was involved or anything...

The OP is a riff on McConaughey's closing argument in the movie

I would be very worried, unless my school had hired Jay Jacobs. NCAA is still smarting from Jay Jacobs pimp hand.

You know, y'all are not really immersing yourself into my scenario like I had hoped. I just can't understand it -- it worked so well in the movie!

Speaking of movies you Rebears seem to have a Blind Side when it comes into admitting how fricked you are.

When Mississippi shocked the college football world and signed the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation in February 2013, it didn't pass the smell test for a lot of people in and around the sport.
Three years later, we can say with reasonable certainty that their noses did not deceive them. There was a questionable odor coming from Oxford then, and it is lingering over Hugh Freeze's program to this day.

Now imagine that
That school hates black peoples and has no history of success but signed several top tier out of state Africa-American players who had close connections to other programs.
Eta: with a high school girls basketball coach.
