I thought the Texas President said that the Longhorn Network would go away when they join the SEC. I can't see its existence being acceptable for the SEC considering that tier 3 rights for each school belong to the SEC Network.

The "They hate Texas more than they love themselves" thing is based on people doing the "Horns down" thing.
They think that when people do the "Horns down" that they are really mad and angry like a person might be when they flip somebody off.
Texas fans are too dumb to realize that people do the "Horns down" with an eyeroll or a mocking grin. Nobody is mad when they do it except for maybe Aggies.
