A reminder that Kyler Murray wasn’t even good enough to beat out Kyle Allen.

Explain this to me Okie lurkers. A&M was a disaster in this time frame and he couldn’t get on the field over a kid that couldn’t beat out Trevor Knight?

Knight was HORRIBLE in that State game.

I find it a little strange how Kyler at A&M could barely get the ball down the field and now has a rocket. Also he didn’t really outrun many folks at A&M either. He was quick but didn’t have many long runs.

Aggy would find a way to turn Joe freaking Montana into a scrub.

That explanation is easy: Kevin Sumlin.

Also, Knight was still at Oklahoma when Murray left.

That's right, A&M had no pro receivers in 2015.

Christian Kirk doesn't start for Arizona and Josh Reynolds doesn't start for the Rams.

NONE AT ALL

Oklahoma hasn’t won a National Championship in over 10 years?

Irrelevant program.

Lincoln Riley's system is better for his skillset.

Shouldn’t you be punking someone in a sport your team has won something in? Was is frisbee golf or water polo?

Got hit a few times vs Bama and refused to go back in the game. Was terrified about his baseball career

He was barely 18, like turned 18 in August, when he was at A&M. I remember him floating the ball against Bama and Auburn horribly. He just wasn’t tall enough or strong enough to drive the ball on deep throws. Floated everything. Between Bama and Auburn he must have had 4 picks, and he only played half the Bama game.

He’s obviously grown in to his body a little bit, even if it’s slight.

I’ll be honest I really don’t know the correlation. But how much can a persons arm strength improve after 18? It feels like if you don’t have a big arm at that point you won’t ever get one.
