Yeah, I don't know. It was prob unfair to reply specifically to your post, Gladius; my comment was more an overall observation.
Maybe it's resultant of the multiple "list" threads that have popped up today, but I chuckle at some of these guys who attempt to convince others that their list (and theirs alone) is the categorical, measurable, definitively correct response.

The Big 10 is the second best conference in America, and Bielema won it 3 straight years. We're not talking about the Sun Belt here.

The only fact worth mentioning is that the OP ranked current SEC head coaches. Last I checked, Bret hasn't coached a single game in the SEC, and you piggies are all butthurt about someone's ranking of him.

Look at what Vandy has done since the 30's and 40's and tell me he franklin hasn't earned a spot in the top 5 of SEC coaches. And considering how bad Ole Miss was in '11, and how vastly improved they were by the end of last season was why I put him up there. I ranked BB ahead of all the other new coaches and a couple others. I just want to see him in the SEC first before I rank him any higher.

Franklin has turned Vandy around, Muschamp had Florida one loss away from the title, Sumlin beat Bama, Freeze got a winning season of out Ole Miss. Let's not put a coach who hasn't coached in the SEC ahead of these guys yet.
