You can make an argument for what Freeze and Franklin have accomplished too.

No you can't. If you can make an argument that Freeze and Franklin have done more as head coaches than Bielema, then go ahead. I'd love to hear it, really.

Miles over Spurrier and Muschamp over Sumlin (for now, at least)

What has Muschamp done to be placed over Sumlin--besides beating JFF in his first game ever?

He's done jack shite.

Considering what Freeze did to Ole Miss in one seasons, earns him a higher spot too

Actually it doesn't

I thought I would have Sumlin higher too, but just couldn't put him above the others

Right, because he had one ten win season because of a player he didn't even recruit. Are you really going to put someone who's gotten their team to 3 straight Rose Bowls (you can disregard the last one if you like, still a lot more than any coach above Bret that I listed has done)under him?

Why do folks get so bent about the opinions of others?

So can we put Sumlin over Saban?

Me asking for evidence means I'm bent about it?

Pinkel so far has proved he can't coach in the SEC after the awful season

Well if it's such an out there opinion then obviously there's a lot of evidence supporting you, right?

Sumlin's also a legit recruiter--as in, one of the best in the country. Bret sucks.

How many NFL teams did Bret turn down this year? Sumlin declined overtures from 3.

This won't be a discussion in a year or two.

No kidding. Like you said. That is one salty list of coaches. Being ranked as the 8th best coach in the SEC is not all that bad. Prolly still a top 15 coach in the NCAA

Oh--so you're saying there are considerations other than head-to-head that must be factored?

Yeah. I thought so.

Petrino averaged 25 here, and Bret already surpassed him in just 2 months.

Obviously Petrino isn't the best recruiter out there, but I think Bielema can get us consistent top 15 and 10 classes

Plus he's hired a much better recruiting staff than he had at Wisconsin

Surely you realize your own criteria for coaching is being used against you? And by "surely" I mean I'm not sure you realize it at all.
