Can we just put to bed this nonsense about the group of five deserving this and that and they should be given a chance at this or that

And state isn’t even a good 3-7 team

I still think the group of 5 champ should be included in an 8 team playoff

We’ll get a better look at the gap in the Georgia/Cincy game

Tulsa took Cincinnati to the wire in the AAC Championship Game. This was not a good look for the G5.

The best player in the country Zaven Collins didnt play! Or is that only an excuse when an SEC team gets curb stomped?

Fair. We won’t know though until we see Cincy against Georgia.

After all, in the same vein of logic, Florida took Alabama to the wire in the SEC championship game and then got destroyed by Oklahoma

Could the great year for G5 teams be due to a very limited or no OOC schedules amongst the P5 teams?!

say it ain't so.

Its almost like a 10 game SEC schedule with a 7 win, 2 x 8 win, and a 10 win team (almost 30% of the conference) with no OOC cupcakes led to .500 or below for a large part of the conference.

G5 DO NOT DESERVE A SHOT and no expansion should afford them one. They need to move to a seperate classification level of play, join a P5, or go indy and play big schools weekly.

SEC was pretty bad after the top 4 teams. I think the top 4 only has one loss to a team outside the top 4 in the conference (LSU over UF). Playing 2 more conference games definitely hurt teams like Auburn, LSU, and Mizzou who would’ve had a higher winning percentage in a 12 game schedule w/ 8-game conference slate. The 10-game SEC schedule probably cost the Mississippi schools and Kentucky a shot at finishing .500 or slightly better. Still, the “other 10” were just not very good but they certainly would’ve handed out some Ls to Sun Belt, CUSA, and MAC teams this year.
