Is this years version of Vanderbilt the worst team in the history of sec football. I'll have to say no ,just because of what they did in week one. What do yall think?

If not, what's the worst team you can remember from the sec . In enjoy worst ever type conversations. I always wonder who's the worst qb in nfl history with multiple starts . This thread can be for all of the worst you remember regardless of category.

1999 South Carolina.

We were playing a second string WR at QB by the end of the year. That team was absolutely terrible.

Dubose's 3-8, 2000 team has to be up there. Shutout at home by Southern MS 21-0

Lou Holtz really did an incredible job, Spurrier then took it to another level.

That 1999 was bad, but not 2015 ku level bad.

The reason I was thinking they were possibly the w0rst was ,because they lost three good players who were there best players ,from a horrible team.

2015 Missouri tigers

5-8

with wins such as 9-6 at home against UCONN; 20-15 at home over BYU, and a 27-20 win against Arkansas state. we were also somehow ranked half of that year

Since WWII:

1950 Auburn, 0-10, outscored 31-255
1955 Alabama, 0-10, no game within 15 pts
1962 Tulane, 0-10, two games within one score
1999 South Carolina, 0-11, lost to Vandy 11-10, no other game within one score

Interestingly, Vandy has never had a winless season. This may be their first.

the answer is one of the Sewanee teams in the 1930s. Now in the proverbial "modern era" this Vanderbilt team is making a case for itself.

Has to be '99 South Carolina.

Which is funny because a few defenders on that team went on to have multi-year careers in the NFL.

Damn, you win 1 SEC game and people forget you just went 2-10 in back to back seasons.

Either of the last two teams at Arkansas would compete for worst in history.
