A Question for LSU Fans

LSU fans, if you lost to Alabama the next 3 seasons and didn't win the SEC but managed to still win a NC (or 2 or 3) during that time would you be happy and say the Saban Bowl didn't matter that much?

I would literally accept losing to Bama by a record 110 points if we won the national title.

So the hypothetical situation you've created is akin to that of 2011? Didn't win your own division or conference, yet were selected to play in the BCSNCG against a team that had already beaten you in your own home that very season?
Or do you mean having a similar situation 7 years later where you didn't win your own division or conference, yet were selected to be in the CFB Semis? Kudos, your teams won those games and no one can take that away from you, but man, it must be nice backing into championships every few years.

Yeah I’d probably care less about beating Sabannif we won 2-3 championships in he next 3 seasons.

I would 100% take that scenario, but it would never happen. LSU doesn't get the benefit of the doubt after one loss like Bama does. We would drop 8-10 spots and be out of the playoff picture.
