A post on another board says Harsin was offered 12 million after Missouri game to depart

but he turned it down. The same poster said it is rumored that Harsin will not only want the entire payoff but expenses associated with having to move.
There was no link so, personally, I think it's more likely b.s. rumor as truth. So I wonder if any of you Auburn fans have heard anything like that.

I’d take everything I’m owed + interest.

Sounds like BS, but there's no denying how odd it is that he's still employed.

There isn’t bartering in firings, that’s why there are contracts. Why would he accept a lower buyout to be fired?

I think he can afford to move with $15 million. And he has plenty of people willing to help him pack and move for free.

Why would he settle for anything less than the full payout? Bring the pain, Harsin.

Take the 1% off the $15 mil you will be getting and get as many PODS as you need.
I am sure plenty of AU fans will be more than happy to help you pack.

It’s obvious BS. WTF would Auburn pay his moving expenses after canning him with a $15+M payout? But, it’s Auburn so I guess you can’t be sure.

Not true. Both parties will want this to go smoothly and quietly. AU doesn't want the word that they are trying to avoid the signed contract, and Harsin doesn't want the word out there on his behavior while at Auburn. Both sides know what is going to happen, they are just working at when.

LOL. Of course there is bartering in firings.

Maybe just to save face and say he "resigned".
I'd hunker down and make them fire me like George Costanza and PlayNow

As I say, I think it's b.s. but "associated with moving" could even include a home such as his family has become accustomed to.

Not if it is true. If Harsin is considered an employee of the State and a public figure, those records can be made available to the press.

Everything I have written is true, amazing how members of the Cult fail to admit it.

Why would he care if it’s not breach of contract? If it was breach of contract he’d be terminated by now with no money owed.
If I’m Harsin, I’m sitting back and letting AU figure it out, but I’m not letting go of a single cent they owe me.

I hope that’s the case. Make them pay every penny plus more if they really want him gone.
