The Michigan Wolverines football program stands to reach the pinnacle of gold standards this coming season as they're only 11 wins away of reaching 1,000 all-time wins in its history.

Right now, UM is at 989 wins and they're favored to go 12-0 this season, including their last game vs. Ohio State which will be played in Ann Arbor.

However, the 11th win -- if they don't slip up -- will be on the road in College Park, Maryland vs. the Maryland Terrapins.

It’s incredible what we’ve been able to accomplish since starting to play football in 2000.

This made me curious about who in FBS has the most losses. Looks like Indiana tops it out with 704 losses. They also have the lowest all time winning percentage of P5 teams at .420

Texas would already been there if they didn't suck so bad the last 15 years.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda.....heck, a lot of teams would've made it had they not gone through dry/bad seasons. Everybody's gone through'em one time or another.

Well... they called themselves the University of Florida.

Forgive us for scheduling them as such, playing them as such, and beating them as such.

When the state legislature calls them the university of Florida and the team calls themselves the university of Florida, you can certainly understand why our record book indicates a win over the University of Florida.

That’s because their second favorite sport is being sanctimonious about their favorite.

Yeah, not so much. We would have to use Alabama’s record since 2010 to get over 1000.. and that would only put us at 1008. Using no other team would have gotten us there..

But yes, we should have won more than 91 games since 2010.
