It'd be just revisionism in that case, not "revisionist history."

Riley scared to go to a program with an ongoing NCAA investigation should be the narrative.

Even with that though, Riley seems like a Southern Cal guy.

Pretty convinced all the clown show insider attention whores at LSU echo chambered each other about Riley. Not saying they are all liars but…lots of attention seekers.

Could be Kiffin since there is no real smoke around him to LSU. I do feel Woodward has someone already. It’s crystal clear LSU posters and others don’t know shite.

I never understood the Riley to LSU news simply because I was told years ago that Riley wanted no part of the SEC. I figured maybe he had finally come to grips with it because OU was coming, but still ...

Honestly though, he has to have been big-time mad to do what he did not only to OU but LSU as well. And he got his wish about never coaching in the SEC. I honestly think he will do exceptionally well at USC, except he did take that idiot Grinch with him

It did just come out over the weekend, from OU sources, that Riley was against the move to the SEC & tried to convince OU's president to change his mind. Then taking a lot less money to move to a city that's cost of living has to be 2,3 times that of either Norman & Baton Rouge is interesting. The lack of competition, one team, the Ducks, vs the entire SEC West plus UGA had to be a factor as he was not wanting to move to the SEC. As Fauci keeps saying, things change.

The numbers I've heard about Riley's new contract are definitely not a lot less. USC is buying out Riley's existing $39 contract as well as paying him the standard 9-10M a year going forward.

Riley won't have any problem with money in LA
