He will get training camp consequences. Maybe a game suspension.

Anyone here going on and on about how this is somehow rare and indicates anything substantial about the program is dream weaving.

Players do stupid. At many programs even at the highest levels.

You deal with it. And move forward.

The rant going on and one about it meaning something is comical.

Texas fans know all about their players getting arrested with guns and staying on the team

Can you point out where a LSU player was arrested with an unlawful firearm and was kept on the team?

LSU kicks Heisman finalists off the team for failed weed tests

But yeah, try and lean on some stories that happened 5+ years ago and were proven to be bullshite to try and zing LSU

I don't think anyone has the local police on lock more than the swamp rats.

When our players use guns, the weapons are legal, the shootings are justified, and the bad guys die. We literally clean up the scum of the earth.

Just goes to show how meaningless the drug testing programs are at each school.
If nothing else, you test him which warrants suspension per NCAA rules

it wasn't even his weed.
It was for a family member who requires it to deal with some serious medical issues.
They are working on trying to get it legit but no insurance due to systemic classism.
He's taking the hit to save his family. a hero.

You're misrepresenting why the rant is laughing at A&M. What's rare is not that the player got caught doing stupid shite, its that he got caught doing it the day before he was scheduled to rep A&M at SEC Media Days. Has a team captain ever fricked up this bad the day before he's supposed to be the face of his program? Why didn't Jimbo pick someone with more character to be at media days? Its a whole different level of stupid.

Texas has Constitutional Carry laws… I don’t see the big deal about carrying a gun.

You’re a good ole Georgia boy…. Have you ever had a loaded gun in your car?
