I guess the sugar bowl against #3 Ohio State isn't a major bowl either.

Incorrect. NY6 didn’t exist in 2012. Also, the Cotton Bowl wasn’t a BCS bowl. Just another bowl.

I never thought the Cotton Bowl was a top tier. Its a good bowl but not an Orange, Rose, Sugar or Fiesta. Its in the next tier.
