7’ 5” and 15 years old Oliver Rioux loves basketball. Where will he play college ball?

Oliver Rioux
Size 20 shoe— I’ll bet those are not cheap. My son wears a size 17 and you pay for the larger size, believe me.

7'+ seems like as much a curse as it may be a blessing.

And he is not a toothpick as I suspected at first.

He'll play for that G League team for a season then go to the NBA.

Not to mention his heart.
People inches from 8' don't have super long lifespans.

I've never noticed the cost being that much more, but the inconvenience sure af is there. Only size 14, but wides. Extremely grateful my sport didn't require footwear.

Speaking of that sorta- I got a slice of pizza at whatever the name of the place was in the ATL airport 2 Sunday’s ago. The point you ask There was a lady in front of me who turned and looked behind us in line and this giant was there. He had an IMG Academy tshirt on and she asked for a pic with him. I did not because I’m more of a long distance stalker type that would only sneak pics. Anyway this dude was 7’5”, I know because the guy behind me asked him- again I’m cool and acted as if it was totally normal occurrence and I was unimpressed. But dang he was huge. I think I’ve mostly always or just always seen that tall of a person- in person at a game, so in real life setting was weird. I know, cool story sis.

I saw George Bell from the harlem globetrotters once. He was working at a sporting goods store (academy?) in Kenner, LA. My sister was playing in AAU national basketball tournament in Kenner and we stopped at this place to get a basketball. Dude was on the other side of a rack and looked like he was on a ladder. He aired up the basketball for my sister and his fingers and thumbs nearly touched on both sides of the ball.
At one time he was the tallest American. I just looked him up and it says 7'8" but he may have been 7'9 at the time. Here he is making Hafthor look small

Thats crazy tall. My son is playing 11/12 year old rec and there is a kid that is 6'5 that he plays against. He's not the most skilled kid but you can't get a damn board vs that team. He's 6 inches taller than any kid in the league.

I bet a large percentage of people that tall would say it’s far more of a curse.
