Imagine Ohio State, Oklahoma and Clemson all go unbeaten and it comes down to this

If its not the 10-1 SEC champ the playoff is a joke. If there was a year to expand the playoff this is it, the schedules are too unbalanced.

Pac and B1G shouldn't be allowed in.

PAC-12 does not belong in the playoff with 7 games. Time to punish them for their shitty politicized decision making.

Last year has nothing to do with it.

They’ll be allowed in. The committee will go heavily on the eye test this year and much less credence to number of games and strength of schedule. IMO, this won’t impact the ACC or SEC champ. Or Big 12, assuming OU goes undefeated. It’ll come down to the Big 10 or PAC 12 for the last spot. So...it’s really not a big deal. This year you can forget a non conference champion getting in. The champions of the P5 will be in. The PAC 12 and Big 10 have less games and weaker conferences, so...it’ll come down to that.

It would pretty clearly be the 10-1 champ.
Hell, if there was an 11-0 champ and 10-1 division champ they’d both be in before the PAC12 team.

That would have been awesome

LSU vs Bama
Clemson vs OU
OSU vs Florida
Georgia vs Oregon

Then
LSU vs Oregon
Clemson vs OSU again

Same title game though

The Pac 12 and big 10 should have to play each other in a play in game for the last spot since they're playing shorter schedules

Try telling THAT to the bama fans that want to delegitimze LSUs 2019 (best season of all time) due to the bad 2020 they
Haven’t
Had
Yet.

Lots of posturing always going on with the jealous fanbases.

There’s no way the SEC gets left out.

I’m more worried about sec grind and injuries more than anything
Sec teams will have to play 13 games to win a title in a condensed time frame whereas other leagues will have less
A normal season is 15 with 3 non conf patsies
