Just went down. State up 20 over Clemson in second round but that’s potentially big. She’s dominating.

I will say this, I think we get to final-4 but there are some really good teams this year. I don’t see us making it to a natty chance but hope I’m wrong. We lost so much experience from last years team and to be where we are is all coach Vic. That man can coach.

We held her to 2 points and MSU still won by 48.

It's amazing how bad we are in WBB.

Y’all are going to have to carry the conference into the Final Four because I don’t think my Gamecocks have what it takes this year .... too young. But sheeeesh, with what we have returning plus the Fab Four class Dawn Staley signed this year who some are saying is the highest rated class in history coming-in to join them next season .... it’s gonna be fun.

We have to get past Baylor in our bracket though and that’s not going to happen this year.

Good luck MSU.

I would never rule you out, you have a great coach too. One game at a time. Who knows...

Appears so.

Marquette (27-8) had a chance to answer Washington’s 3-pointer, but botched an inbound pass with A&M’s Chennedy Carter coming up with the steal with 5 seconds left. Carter, who put the Aggies in the Sweet 16 last year by hitting a 3-pointer with 3.2 seconds left to beat DePaul 80-79, this time settled for 30 points and the game-winning assist along with nine rebounds.

quote:

After Marquette took a 76-75 lead with 36 seconds left on a pair of free throws by senior Amani Wilborn, most in the crowd of 2,767 expected Carter to take the game’s biggest shot. Instead, she drove the lane and passed to a wide-open Washington. “Chennedy just made a great read,” Washington said. “They were triple teaming her all night, coming off those ball screens. And she hit me, I was open, and so I knocked it down for them.”
