This trip gave Smith lots to think about. Nick did not like losing his recruiting championship crown. Sure he is as focused and hard working as ever.

While the NSD did not go the way Coach Saban expected, also remember that Alabama played a lot of freshman in the title game. Alabama could not give out a full allotment of scholarships this year either, it was the perfect storm to keep Bama from the #1 recruiting class again this year.....

I think Uga is on the same recruiting level as Bama now. Would not be a surprise if either finished #1.

Any school not trying to get Nolan on Campus would be insane. I think it is going to be a battle to get his LOI between UA/UGA/Clemson. I don’t see him any other place at this time.

I don’t know about everybody else, but the Alabama reaction to UGA’s recruiting has been highly entertaining. BOL in particular is a treasure trove of scandalous UGA rumors.
