Wow they left Vandy at 2 even after dropping their second series of the season. Makes sense I guess with what happened in Big 12 with who was behind them.

Florida is breaking out. They are 9-2 since dropping the Tennessee series. (10-2 if you count game 3 of that series)

State has a #2 SOS ranking, compared to the vols at #20. State is #2 in RPI, compared to the vols at #7. Quadrant 1, 2, and 3 wins of the two teams is very comparable, but State has a slight advantage.

That surprised me too. Figured they would've had TCU or Miss State jump them for the No. 2 spot since both polished another undefeated week (and are both on fire right now)

They should concern a lot of people now. Our three remaining SEC weekend series are UGA at home, Tenn on the road, and Florida at home. Mother F the SEC is meat grinder.

Vandy has to be the team you least want to face in a super regional. Batting average against Leiter and Kumar is .128 and .149, holy crap.

I think it has more to do with Texas and Louisville losing and having beaten both Tennessee and MSU. Won't get punished a ton for losing a road series to Florida.

I'll say the same thing. BaseVOLS don't deserve to be ranked top 5 if they get swept at home.

I just hope we win the series. We dont sweep many teams as it isnt easy to do unless your baseball team isnt very good.
