I still think Ole Miss would have tanked another game later that season had 4th and 25 not happened.
Nonetheless, to Arkansas

My wife and I have a "post victory selfie" in the stands where we look really cheerful. Little did we know Henry's knee wasn't down.

Also, little remembered part of this game is that we also stopped Arkansas on fourth and goal later on in this drive, but Marquis Haynes had the dumbest and most useless facemask of all time and they got another shot at the end zone.

That was actually the two point conversion that we went for, it was a crazy game that I often get confused on what exactly happened.

The only time I felt worse during this era was when Laquon Treadwell had his ankle broken the while in the process of scoring a TD against Auburn, which was then ruled a strip fumble to give Auburn the game. Then, in a true display of class, some newspaper around Auburn put it on their front page

Here's one that doesn't look like a PowerPoint presentation.

Another thing people don't realize or remember is that Alex Collins fumbled the ball at the end of the gif.

Craziest game I've ever watched as an Arkansas fan

Kelly and Allen were both on fire from the first whistle

Both defenses were absolutely worthless, and I remember thinking multiple times when we’d take the lead that we would score too quickly and put our wet paper sack secondary back out there. Sho ‘nuff...

It is amazing the amount of luck that goes into winning a national title in football

2004 Auburn- No losses at all and zero title

2007 LSU- two losses and has a national title due to the biggest upset in Vegas history at the time (stanford beating USC)

2011 bama- took a bad call by the refs on an Okie State field goal against Iowa state

2015 Bama- took a 4th and 25 conversion by Arkie against Ole Miss

Yeah I think Collins thought he had to score on that

Just a couple games later after we won that 53-52 game we lost to Mississippi State 51-50 on a blocked field goal. Those two games probably aged me 20 years.

I've watched sports for longer then I care to remember, I don't think I will ever see a moment that captures the sudden turn of emotions in a game better then that one.

So, Arkansas gets to claim a Natty (disputed) and an assist right?
