I assume for DC. Saban may be encouraging him to spread his wings

Poot Goldwing would be a great addition to Coach 0s staff. Make it happen, corn dogs.

If he does interview it’ll just be another Saban troll. Probably convince some players to enter the transfer portal.

He did really well in the playoffs. I was kind of coming around on him. Still not sure. I guess if saban lets him go then it's probably for the best.

You guys can have him.

I am wondering if coach O will be on Saban's staff as an analyst after he inevitably gets fired.

I believe Ed came to TitleTown years back with Bill Battle showing him around town. Bama had a open spot at DL coach then again Nick has hired a new DL each of these past 4 years.

Hang in there Freddie

Pete is a bright guy. His problem has been expecting 11 guys, half of whom are underclassmen, to be able to retain and execute the assignments as well as he knows them. Actually think he’d make a great NFL DC. When he starting dumbing it down the defense played a lot better

If this was even remotely true, LSU needs to fire O immediately for being a bigger dumbass than most thought.

Ditching Pelini (in a year where he had wokeness lockerrom issues/31 players on defense) for Golding.

That is how you Texas
But this is how you LSU:
Pay pelini 4 million to leave to hire Golding.

Nick has always allowed assistant coaches to get out and find a gig without having to actually hurt them by letting them go. It is documented.

Best to Pete.

This is called the "Pruitt Plan". Not like Saban hasn't depleted the SEC already, but I like this more direct tactic of the Saban Effect.

The SECCG removed all doubt.

In his book, O says he was offered the defensive line job at Bama by Saban, it might've been the time he ended up going to the Saints but I could be wrong.

I like Golding more than most Bama fans...thought the defense improved a lot from last year. With most of a young defense returning next year, I hope he stays on...

Think he's from Louisiana though, so it wouldn't surprise me if he interviews...

After running the defense for one of the greatest teams ever, it seems he'd be more than qualified.
