No fans of the original sec teams seem to get it.

It definitely doesn't favor Auburn either. But Auburn playing Bama, UGA and LSU. But it works out to 3 good match ups. Even though there will be years we don't win any. They definitely need to separate the 3 permanent rivals separated through the season. Like beginning(maybe not game 1), middle, and end.

I'm for better match ups and we still play everyone else over 2 years.

TN can have SC while UGA takes Oklahoma!

Yep, tried to preserve as many as I could slot in, but it’s going to definitely be different.

Yet you missed 1 of the main SEC rivalry games?

& it's YOUR rivalry too. *SMH*

I don’t want to lose LSU vs Florida. That’s my #1. I would not like LSU vs A&M to be a permanent. Let the old big 12 schools play each other.

My second permanent choice would be Ole Miss. it’s a classic.

For the third permanent, I’d be good with Bama, Auburn or even Arkansas.

I would think Florida would want Auburn back on their schedule permanently.

Aub. wants that.

All conference games come out to .500, and you will just make the conferences overall win% lower by a minimum of 4.2% That's with the SEC winning every single out of conference game.

Sorry, but this way of thinking is bogus because you'ld have to make schedules each year based on previous years. NO WAY to NOT have games repeat before playing somebody else.

Who gets Oklahoma as their 3rd permanent opponent?

Also, who would ESPN like to pair with Oklahoma for a national telecast?

Georgia...making ours Aub., Fl., & Ok.! :D

Do we see the exact same issue with divisions and 4 pods? Same issues. Not going to work for each one. Why have 3? Why not just 1. and rotate the rest.

Okay, let's help you out:

Georgia...Aub. (DSOR) or Fl. (WLOCP)?
Alabama....Aub. (IB), Tenn. (3SIO), or MSU (most played opponent)?

It is easy to have Georgia-Florida, Alabama-Auburn, Arkansas-Missouri, Texas A&M-LSU, Texas-Oklahoma, Ole Miss-MSU, Tennessee-Vandy, South Carolina-Kentucky.
1=8 format.

If people do not like Tennessee-Vandy then can switch Tennessee-South Carolina, Vandy-Kentucky.

I think you see here just how much aggravation is going to be caused however they do it.

Admittedly that’s part of the reason I decided to toss this out there. People are going to be pissed off no matter what, so go ahead and get some it out of their system.

Explained why.

Do you keep something because you’ve always had it? Or when you find something better do you replace the old with the new?

This is pretty even match, and they are true rivalry. Also, most are very close to each other.

No argument from me.

But as you’ve already seen LSU isn’t going to be a bit happy with that. 8&4feit will whine because they should get Texas instead of Oklahoma, etc, etc, etc.

Sorry.....NONE if these annual games are being eliminated

So, the "1 perm" ain't gonna work.

When it's a major part of the SEC, HELL YEAH I KEEP IT!

Let's not forget those constant wins TN had in the 90's over y'all. What if they said "eh, let's drop Al." You'ld be happy over that?
