Growing up, before I even knew anything about LSU, I was an FSU fan for a long time...the biggest 30 seconds was Scott Bently's kick to beat Nebraska 18-16 for FSU's first National Championship
FSU had had such bad luck with kickers, and the NC had remained elusive for so many years, that I think a miss would have killed Bowden instantly

One thing I have learned about the rant, is most peoples knowledge of SEC football on here doesn't go back very far. Any time we have a best ever thread, 90% of the posts are from shite that has happened in the last 3-4 years.
You're looking at a site comprised mostly of college students or people within a few years of college. 18-30 yr olds mainly. The average poster was born in 1983 or later.....,
So what the frick do you expect. No no ones favorite play is going to be something that happened in 1970.

1986 vs Auburn. This was awesome, because Kerwin didn't play until the 4th quarter, and Auburn was up 17-0.

Story:
Reserve QB Rodney Brewer committed four turnovers in the first half for Florida, which reinserted its banged-up starter, Bell, to help erase a 17-point, fourth-quarter deficit. Bell started by leading the Gators on consecutive scoring drives – a touchdown and a field goal – to pull them within 17-10.
The clinching strike then came from Bell to Ricky Nattiel in the final seconds, capping a 79-yard, game-winning drive. The hobbled Bell then ran in a two-point conversion by diving across the goal line for the win.

Mark Ingram's 69 yard run. There was like 3-4 all Americans that totally whiffed a tackle on him. It was hilarious.
69 has been a great number for me over the years

The Teague play was the first thing I thought of after the Clowney hit. Those are the two most impressive defensive plays that I have ever seen.

parkjas, that was one of my favorite plays... watched it from my apartment in college with about 20 people pulling for Auburn.
