No, Will Wade was not one of them
Some Adidas bigwig, a tournament director and a business partner are looking at 3 hots and a cot for the next 36 months

Never let facts ruin a good narrative. Until Will Wade gets on the stand, admits to pay for play (possible because he is under penalty of perjury), and the NCAA opens an investigation (in which they would still have to find something, or be given subpoenaed documents from the FBI), nothing will happen.

Imagine being one of those dumbasses facing 3 years.
"What are you in for? Murder? Rape? B&E?"
"Nope, I paid kids to go play basketball and used wire fraud across state lines to pay for it"

There was some obvious snark but I just read an article about this and I'm trying to figure out how you decided that 9 plus 6 plus 6 is equal to 36.
ETA: Or if you're saying they each got 36 which isn't right either.

People watch too much tv. Wade will get on the stand be asked about his relationship with Dawkins then the prosecutor will ask wade a few questions and it will be done. This is not a congressional hearing!

I would assume he's not put in the same prison as a guy that is in for Murder, Rape or B&E.
Wouldn't he be with the same people that are in prison for similar crimes? (Tax Evasion, Insider Trading, Ponzi scheme etc)

The defense isn’t calling Will Wade as a character witness. My guess is that they’re wanting to muddy the waters with “everyone’s doing it.” If you think the defense is going to say “Do you know Mr. Dawkins? Do you think he’s a good guy?” You’re in for a bit of a letdown.

The government was attempting to recoup more than $1.1 million for Kansas, more than $250,000 for NC State and nearly $32,000 for Louisville to reimburse the schools for scholarships and legal fees related to the scandal. The defendants' attorneys argued throughout the trial that their clients intended to help the universities by assisting them in signing talented basketball recruits and never intended to harm the schools, as federal prosecutors alleged.
This may be why they’re calling coaches. If they’re being prosecuted based on “harming the schools,” if they demonstrate agents of the school wanted their assistance, it weakens the government’s case. They’re not defrauding the schools. They’re acting in what the school’s employees are saying is their best interests.
