For UF, you could make the argument it is Donovan-Spurrier-Lopez. Lopez did go to 2 CWS with UF before getting fired, and has two national titles at other schools.

Good point. I sometimes forget Spurrier was @ UF til 2001, and Billy has been here for 17 years.

Cuonzo is not that bad imo. He is a middle of the road SEC basketball coach. He has god awful talent on this team with Maymon and Golden both out. God awful.

This would be the easy answer, but they weren't successful at the same times.

Best for MSU

1996

Football. Jackie Sherrill
Basketball Richard Williams
Baseball Ron Polk

All 3 guys led us to our most success. Sherrill got us to Atlanta, Williams took us to a Final 4 and Polk built our baseball program and took us to many CWS.

Rob Evans was the best basketball coach Ole Miss had ever had up to that point. Today's success in Ole Miss basketball can be traced back to him.

And UK wins with Bryant and Rupp. You coukd add Honey Boo boo as the basebal coach to those two legends and still win this contest.
