Ed Orgeron is the HC

We’ll settle probably for a lesser lump sum.
Money in hand and all.

Those old BMAs going to scratch a check knowing y'all plan to bring in someone with the last name Briles? Seems to be a disconnect.

Why are they bringing in these coaches when O won't let them run their offense? Briles? Freeze?
LSU doesn't want to run those systems. Enos would be a good fit.

O is dead man walking, they won't paying Aranda what they are paying him to be only a DC for more than a year or two.

This is true

Fat, broke and stupid is no way to go through a football season, son.
8 is coming.

Good OC was less productive than our Interim OC running Cam's system last year

Still have Les on the payroll too, then we throw the school a cool 7mil. LSU is poor, LSU football is not

He was a finalist for the Broyles award until Orgeron got his hooks in him.

Running of Canada makes zero sense.
Should not have hired him without due diligence.
This will likely hurt LSU offensively next year, if nothing else the team will probably have to learn a whole new offensive scheme.

Good time to do it - We lose our QB, Top 2 RBs, Top 2 WRs...so it'll be a lot of new faces

But 6mil was too much for Jimbo.

O is the head coach now but what is the over/under that he is the head coach this time next year?
LSU had to step up the money to keep Aranda (whether he was actually interested in leaving or not).
The money guys at LSU are still upset on how the AD retained Les and then let him go. O was the forced head coach and the moment he stumbles the pitch forks will be out. Aranda will be the forced head coach because of his salary.
2008 will be a fun year to watch the politics at LSU.

Clem's only loss in 2016 was to Matt Canada's offense that could not be stopped that day.

I'm just happy that we retained Aranda. As long as we get a good replacement OC, I don't care whether Ed O or Aranda is HC in the next year or two.

Have to think Aranda is essentially the HC in waiting now right?
If O botches the OC hire, do you think he could be the new HC after next year?
