Not a bad start for a team picked to finish 13th in the SEC.

3 wins over the ACC when including the exhibition win over Clemson. 1 win over the B1G 10.

Rick Barnes has done a hell of a job on this rebuild. Really looking forward to conference play. So many strong teams this year.

Rick Barnes is one of the best October through December coaches in the NCAA.

I'm really high on this VOLS team. Don't include the exhibition game though. Makes it look like you're stretching.

lol, The man has 22 Tournament appearances in his 30 years as a HC to UGA's 10 over the last 100 years.

2 more Elite 8s and 4 more Sweet 16s than UGA has in your entire programs history.

I'd say he's doing ok.

SEC play is going to like walking through a buzzsaw this year. A lot of talented programs out there.

barnes is a hell of a coach. pretty much the opposite of Cal, hes at his best when he doesn thave the blue chips and is allowed to build his roster for an extended period

He's done a great job of finding guys that weren't highly rated or highly sought after, but that want to take coaching and have a great work ethic. This is the most complete basketball that we've played since Pearl imo. It's an enjoyable brand of basketball for the first time in while

I saw rick Barnes eat at Hugo's in Fayetteville before the last UT- Arkansas basketball game. I'll buy him a few extra rounds this year if they play the same way.

For sure. Wasn't really taking a shot at Tennessee as much as I was at Barnes. He's a solid coach, and I'd take him in Athens in a heartbeat. But he also has a pretty rough track record recently for peaking in December instead of March.

his recruiting at UT has been very underwhelming which is why yall are kinda surprising this year, but looking back on his time at texas, its no wonder hes having success. his worst years there were when he attracted the one and dones. if he could build on some mid-low 4 star (3-4 year) talent he will win big.

Yea Old Man Rick has made it clear at Tennessee he really is only recruiting 4/5 year players to close out his career. 1 and dones are wonderful, but can cause a program constant instability
