Well the last time Mizzou was counted out this bad was 2012 going into 2013 and we made it so….

A - I’m a lifelong fan
B - GOAT coach with a stacked roster
C - because of B, even if we drop a game and somehow miss the SECCG we still have a fair chance of making the playoffs. Or even if we lose a close SECCG and it’s our only loss
Georgia will be a tough out for the SECCG

Defense is loaded and has serious star power, and their offense should continue to shred other teams to death.
Even with the perceived OL issues, I still think they just reloaded too much offensive firepower. Gibbs at RB and J. Burton at WR, along with any other additions, is just filthy.
Only team that could stand up to them from the East is UGA, and we're most likely taking a step back in '22. We'd have a puncher's chance in Atlanta, but I'd still take Alabama 9 out of 10 times.

I would definitely pick Bama, but if I were playing those odds, I’d probably take LSU and a what the hell flyer on Missou.

The only two worth playing are A&M and Florida.

Same for Auburn that year. They were coming back from their worst season ever to go all the way to the BCS game.

A&M is quickly becoming what they've mocked UT for in the past. Big recruiting classes, preseason hype, then going 8-4 and acting like it never happened (e.g. mocking teams they just lost to)

Agreed. The recruiting class was nice, but they're not going to be huge contributors for another 2 years. There are just too many question marks for us to be ranked this high.
