Skinny Daniels: 2380 yards, 7.9 ypp, 10 TDs, 10 int
Max Johnson: 2815 yards, 7.5 ypp, 27 TDs, 6 int
LSU posters below let the cat out of the bag on the otherwise carefully concealed anonymity, so I’ll go ahead and put the names in the thread title.
Johnson looks like a great backup!

Which looks like the better QB, do you think?
QB A

QB B seems good enough to make a quality backup.

That's what your title should be.

Cherry picked? I just grabbed the yards, ypp, TDs, and ints.

Not hardly blind. It’s Johnson and Daniels you retard.

Well, thanks a lot. You ruined it!

Max tries really hard to model his game after Johnny Manziel.

Aggies seem upset that LSU doesn't give a shite about losing Johnson.

Daniels won’t make it a full SEC season. Guaranteed

More like Stormy Daniels.
Every SEC defense is going to run a train on him.

He's like the same size as Haynes King.

Isolating just their play
PFF Grade for Daniels last year - 83.2
PFF grade for Johnson last year - 67.8
Interesting, seems like PFF thought Daniels was much better than Johnson last year. But Daniels threw 3 more INTs.
Oh wait, Turnover Worthy Plays (defined as - a pass that has a high percentage chance to be intercepted or a poor job of taking care of the ball and fumbling) by each per PFF in 2021
Daniels - 9
Johnson - 19 (he had 4 against UCLA alone, Mr. behind the back no look pass)
Yikes

It is pretty cut and dry. Johnson outplayed Daniels last year. He did it in the SECW. Daniels has some talent, but he looked very mediocre last year in a not-great conference. Vs P5 teams he only had 180 passing yards a game with a TD-INT ratio of less than 1.
If he's beating out Brennan then he probably made some strikes, but it also sounds like Brennan was checked out.
Johnson on the other hand is likely losing to King is a heated competition.
