2021 Softball Preseason All-SEC Team Announced

The Southeastern Conference unveiled its 14th annual Preseason All-SEC Team to highlight the upcoming season of SEC softball.
LSU has four representatives on the team, while Alabama and Arkansas both have three student-athletes on the squad. Florida, Mississippi State and Tennessee each have two players, and Missouri has one student-athlete named to the preseason team.
The Preseason All-SEC Softball Team is voted on by the league's head coaches and consists of a minimum of 14 players. Each SEC head coach voted for five infielders, four outfielders, three pitchers, one catcher and one designated player/utility. No ties were broken.

LSU and Bama look good this year. Hopefully UF can keep up.
Also want to mention Arkansas with 3 selections. Way to go Hogettes!

Alabama definitely lucked up with COVID last year. They were on track for one of the biggest underachieving seasons of all time.

Not sure Florida has the pitching this year. Watch out for Tennessee too. SoftVols looking pretty good as well.
I think the SEC middle and lower tiered teams have really improved as well. SEC stacked.

I would like ot commend Bama on upgrading the visual aspect of their softball team as well. Y'all have been a bunch of hefers the last couple of years it seemed like.
