I must disagree with Coach of the Year. I'm sorry, but Kirby Smart returned a senior-laden roster with tons of experience and a lot of blue chippers to boot. Despite that, he failed to win his conference - getting blown out in the championship game in Atlanta. He may still win the national championship, but he laid a tremendous egg against a team he was supposed to beat on the conference's biggest stage. I'd have gone with Josh Heupel, Sam Pittman, or even Lane Kiffin over Smart.

“Jack Blech is better!”

- LSU fans

This doesn’t even include Brock’s rushing stats. He’s at 857 total yards and 12 TDs

Our top 3 pass catchers this year

1. 4-star freshman Brock Bowers
2. 3-star freshman Ladd McConkey
3. 3-star freshman AD Mitchell

All being thrown passes by a 2-star QB.

FOH. We were forced to use a lot of guys who normally wouldn’t have played if it weren’t for injuries and we ran through the SEC with them.

Bowers is a monster; deserves all the accolades. But they royally blew the COTY vote.

You're being very disingenuous. You and I both know that Georgia was anything but a passing team this year. Stetson Bennett finished the regular season with fewer than 2,000 passing yards.

We were not a passing team because our starting qb has been injured and our top 5 WR’s have been hurt at some point. All were injured at the same point this season too.

Not a peep from LSU and UGA has to make it about LSU. Don't you have some road rash to clean?

What about the guy who actually beat the guy who won the award?

Your starting QB who passed for 135 yards against Clemson?

He won it last year. They very rarely give it to the same guy in back-to-back seasons.

Yes, the one who gutted it out and played that game injured. The same one who threw for 400 yards against one of the best pass defenses in the nation last. The same one.
