2020 SEC Top 50 Defenses

In order
1. Texas A&M
2. Georgia
3. Oklahoma
4. Alabama
5. Kentucky
This puts OU with the 3rd best Defense in the SEC last year with a very young squad. Texas is nowhere to be found.

Well yes. Better offenses in the big 12 with 6 top 50 offenses to the SECs 5. Also there were more big 12 teams (6) with top 50 defenses last year than sec teams (4)

I do expect OU to have some success in the SEC, but until OU plays a SEC schedule, we are talking apples and oranges in stat rankings.

How did that top 5 SEC defense work out for you last year?

Games 2-4 you went 1-2 giving up a shite ton. Lost to KState at home giving up 38. Then another 37 in a loss to Iowa State. Almost shite the bed giving up 45 to UT. 40 points per game to open conference play.

Missing something like 11 starters to covid for the Kstate and iowa state games. After got most of those back still missing starting RB and Oline rolled everyone that stepped on the grass with them.
