Crazy thing is South Carolina could have this kind of rise and still very easily end up 4-8/5-7

Yep - they are #38.......they play #1, #6, #9, #11, #15, #27 and #29.
So if they beat everyone behind them and lost to everyone ahead of them they'd go 5-7.

Did you do this before last season?
I enjoyed your threads leading up to games last year

No, I kind of stumbled into this one this week when I finally found readily available data for returning production. I was hoping to specifically do it by area (offense, defense, pass game, run game) but there isn't a database of OL starts available so I kind of scrapped that for this.

Appreciate it - they're fun. Nothing more than that really.

In terms of average rankings, there's almost the same size gap between the Big 12 and the ACC as there is between the ACC and the AAC.
That amuses me.

Well... that would be an improvement yes. It would still mean we have a lousy team but not as lousy 116th. If we win more than 4 games this year Pittman should get coach of the year. Bert and Chad burned the program to the ground and pissed on the ashes.
