It won't happen, but man if Casey Martin slides and doesn't get drafted in the 10 rounds. Wooo baby

There are only 5 rounds this year. It's going to be crazy to see how things play out.

*5 rounds. That would be fantastic for Arkansas......if he can learn to hit an off-speed pitch and make an accurate throw to first between now and then. If he can put it together, though, watch out.

Trust me, we feel your pain. We were 16-1. I really wanted to see Connor in conference play; he went 35 innings with a 0.00 ERA. Only gave up 5 hits in 65 at-bats. That's absurd.

college baseball is going to be wild next year with all the young superstars that are relatively unknown right now

I bet we see a ton of transfers too. With guys coming back and scholarship decisions needing to be made, there will be a ton of talent looking for money or a better situation. A&M just got a nice little hitter from UTSA a day or so ago.

You were 48 hours away from a country butt whipping. The Corona virus was the best thing that happened to Georgia sports in 2020.

What's going to be interesting is how many upperclassmen and high school kids can't find anywhere to play. There are only so many scholarships and roster spots available. We already have cuts every year to play the numbers game after the draft. Add the NCAA giving guys an extra year of eligibility AND there only being 5 rounds of the draft....that's going to leave hundreds of kids with no roster spots to be found anywhere outside dropping down a division or going JUCO. It sucks. I honestly have no idea what we're going to do to get down to 35 and don't envy coaches at all right now. The NCAA really needs to stop being dumb and expand the roster limits for one season. You can't on one hand give guys another year to play and on another tell the coaches they still have to stay at 35. We're all making adjustments right now, they can too.

Would love to see Cole Wilcox get drafted by the Braves, but I doubt it will happen. He'll be off the board before Atlanta gets their first pick.

Bama has some nice young talent
They might start making some noise in the SEC
Never understood why Bama dropped off so much in baseball

Because we stopped getting talent

Screw the ncaa for not finding a way to finish basketball and keep baseball going. They just skipped over all of the contingency plans.

We've already had 5-6 transfer out and brought in about 4 transfers (AJ Lewis, the first-team catcher on that list, is one of them).
I'm interested to see how it affects our signing class too. Normally we'd lose a lot from a top 5 class but we'll have to see how it plays out.
