It seems as though many here cannot consider the possibility that LSU would have a down year.
Or maybe you haven’t considered that LSU has a coaching staff that knows what it is doing and is able to actually coach and repeat! You sound more like you are wishful thinking than actually know what you are talking about

People don't realize how much talent is going to be in Baton Rouge from last years team.
No one is expecting Burrow to be replaced. The good thing is we don't need Brennan to be as good to make a run. Either way, whoever wins the East will be seeing UF in Atlanta

If Brennan throws Half the td passes of Burrow this past year, that will still be 6 more than Fromm threw......

And that is why LSU will not "reload" this year. Every person who says they will are also saying that Burrow and the rest of the players LSU lost are generic enough to be replaced by young talent who have had a few weeks of practice. LSU fans yall will not win the west again, I would wager a ban bet on it.
What this post and every other teams posts are really saying is "I pray to God that LSU fails, because they broke us, and broke college football for me." All the "one hit wonder" chants are a cry for help, for the fear that your fan bases have. Especially Clumpson and Bama. But Georgia should not even be in the conversation. We broke you even when we were in a building year. It's like all these clowns think that LSU doesn't recruit or something.

The LT started 5 games last year and our LG has 14 career starts.

I think Brennan will be a good QB for LSU but it’s going to be impossible to duplicate the production of 2019. Just from the standard of setting* multiple season NCAA records along with the experience lost.
I don't see any LSU fan stating our offense won't take a step back this year. It was one of, if not the most, prolific offenses in CFB history, so of course it takes a step back.
What isn't happening is LSU's offense returning to the Stone Age as some trolls here are prognosticating.

Makes #9 for A&M look so bad on that little juke move. Doesnt even come close to getting a hand on him and he had the angle

LSU is absolutely "Reloading". Team will be just as "talented" as last year. Will the offense be as productive, no chance. However, if you think the offense will be back to 2014-2018 days you are also mistaken.
LSU still boast the number 1 receiving core in America, a strong armed, talented VETERAN QB, a couple big time RBs coming into their second year, and a experienced offensive line.
The secondary is the best in country, and with our new attacking defense, they can cover long enough for our speedy linebackers and Ends to get sacks and create turnovers.
This team will not be the dominate force it was in 2019, but it will be a top team in the country and compete for a spot in the playoffs.
Now come 2021, expect them to be one of the favorites to win the title with Brennan going into his final year and Stingley going on a Heismen run.

I just hope we get to play Georgia again this year. Like you said, this is a new season and the wins arent gonna come as easy. Ill take all of the freebie wins that i can get.

LSU could have scored 26 fewer points and we still would have beaten you.
Brennan will be just fine.

It would be nice to be able to pencil in another 20+ point win. Ed owns Kirby. Maybe we will get to play them in Atlanta again.
