I honestly did not see that loss coming for Bama. But Jordan Hare does crazy things

Well we were playing with our backup QB, making his first start in a big game, and it happened to be on the road in Jordan Hare, I definitely sensed it could happen.

And before someone says that offense wasn't our problem in the game, and we scored plenty of enough points to win, and the D lost us the game. Take a second to remember that Mac Jones scored fourteen of Auburn's points throwing pick sixes, he threw more TD passes for Auburn than Bo Nix did.

People that blame Alabama's defense make no sense to me.

They werent great but they gave up 34 in a game when Alabama's offense scored 45.

I thought this was the game where AL finally beat a ranked team last year?

The Iron Bowl used to be the last game of the season.

They didn't play great, but Auburn averaged 33 points per game and our D held them to 34 like you said. If not for the pick sixes we would've won by 14. Our defense didn't give up 48 points, some seem to forget that.

And that isnt counting any points they potentially score on the drives where he threw interceptions.

I give Auburn's D credit for forcing the pick sixes, just saying that I definitely thought we could lose going in with it being Mac Jones' first SEC start and it being in a hostile environment.

If D Brown didn’t bat down the pass before the last missed FG, Mac would’ve thrown a third pick 6. The db broke on it and was upset he batted it down.

If you had no fog in the fight, that was a damn entertaining game.

Let's hope for more this season.

It always helps when you don’t get your first td called back on a phantom hold.

Sorry man. We missed plays too. Some that could have resulted in TD's. You just cant play the "what if" shite with football. There are just too many to go around

Mac Jones first pick six was probably the worst of the two. On the first int. he had Jeudy open towards the sideline and overthrew it right into the AU defender. At least on the second int. he was being tackled while throwing.

Could you point those “missed” plays out? You mean the ones where the receiver makes a shoe string diving catch on an overthrown pass or makes a catch and tight ropes the chalk in the end zone? Or gets a field goal when time should have expires in the first half? Wow!
