Must really “sting” to be a fan of Tech and Allbarn, two schools owned by UGA.

It was a hard schedule. Every year is difficult. Last two weeks have LSU at home, then Bama.

You do realize we have the same number of national championships as Auburn right?

Auburn has a tough road to hoe, but we always have had a consistently harder schedule than all of our main rivals. It is what it is!

Pretty much the same record against UGA the past decade.
Auburn comes off as a middling ACC school.

I think throwing bo nix into this schedule is why Auburn will be scary next year. I'd say LSU, bama, and auburn are a toss up in preseason SEC West predictions, but Auburn might have a leg up due to the returning sophomore starter.

Oregon was fun, Bama was fun

The rest of it sucked

You can say a lot about Auburn under Gus Malzahn, but fun usually isn't the word I'd use. Boring, boring is the word.

Frustrating is the word that I associate with him. I’m sure as an auburn fan it’s even more aggravating watching it every week.

This is nothing new. Auburn has a tough to absolutely brutal schedule every year.

Just look at our "easy" schedule next year. Mack has North Carolina on the upswing. Kentucky is usually an auto win and they're coming off two of their best years in modern era with Stoops bringing in very good talent. Bama and UGA on the road although they split them up, but we get LSU at home right before Bama. Tough sledding every season. Is what it is.

And we got it moved... Much happier to have a home game against LSU and a road game against Bama... Otherwise we would have ended @UGA and @Bama.

We came out better for this, the goal was to balance the home and away over the course of a year.

I've long felt that LSU and Auburn have lately played extraordinarily hard schedules and revoltingly the greatest beneficiary has often been Alabama. People look at Auburn and LSU schedules and say, good lord being in the SECW is murderers row, and it just isn't true for all the teams.

I wish football schedules had more flexibility to ensure non conference matchups were truly marquee. You can't blame alabama for playing a michigan or an FSU or a penn st when they are down because you can't actually know whether or not they'll be down.

Id love to see football use the basketball conference-challenge system. imagine every year 1 sec non conf game was against the ACC or the big10, and they determine the pairings on recent conference rankings. I know it would never happen considering all the teams that already play an acc rivalry every year but man it'd be an exciting weekend to put in September.

North Carolina won't be an easy win with so many personnel losses for AU.

Since 1980, you are correct.. But if you look at all-time, then no.. Auburn with 2 , UGA with 1.

Facts, the self appointed NC that UGA claims is bogus..

Are you talking about Georgia Tech or Auburn? I couldn't tell the difference.

It'll change at some point, but it really is amazing that Alabama manages to get these huge schools at their absolute low points and we get UNC and USF and UCF and the like when they're at their multi-decade peaks.

I guess they did get waxed by Utah.

Dear oh dear, do you guys ever get tired of whining? Every year we hear about how hard Auburn has it. Regardless of the fact that you played some of your toughest opponents at HOME and then chit the bed against Minnesota.....yeah....Minnesota.
Please find a new schtick and at least blame the referees or something. You guys are becoming the laughing stock of the West.
