2019-20 KenPom Ratings are Out for SEC Basketball

13 out of 14 SEC Teams in the Top 70. SEC ranked 5th among conferences. KenPom is projecting an absolute meat grinder with a larger separation in quality between 13 and 14 than 2 and 13.

Yeah I noticed how much some of the computer systems loved Missouri earlier this summer. I would be shocked if they aren't a top 8 team in the league at the very least. Everyone from 3-13 (I think UF is closer to UK than KenPom does) is very beatable and Mizzou has a very favorable schedule in league play.

If past has said anything Frank will have our guys ready and exceed those predictions....I'm not saying SEC contenders. But I expect to make the tourney this year.

Lol I forgot South Carolina got a double bye last year.
I do think they are a tourney type team. Very little difference on paper between most of the league this year outside of 1,2 and 14.

LSU finished #19 last year and Waters and Reid were the biggest contributors and had the highest usage percentage so not too surprising. Freshman don't have huge impacts on these ratings in most cases so it's more wait and see for Watford.
