Wasn't Mizzou an AAU member not long ago?

Now they're sub-100 and behind the likes of South Carolina and Alabama?

Ouch.

Big 4, if you're below 100 you're irrelevant as an academic institution

#14?!? We beat #s 3, 7, and 9 in a water-balloon fight and we're still only ranked #14? I bet the pollsters didn't even watch the fights.

That's pretty harsh, but the rankings look about right for the SEC schools. A&M probably should be higher.

UGA and UF are all but tied, most of the difference is a bunch of schools that tied for the same rank.

Not bad with UGA not historically have an Engineering or Medical School.

OM being ahead of mississippi state is a joke. I guess they must put heavy weight on the liberal arts majors. I'm guessing it is cause of the med school... which is stupid because there are more MsState grads that attend the med school annually than om grads.

It's based on stuff like class size and what "peer" institutions think about you. US News has always used crappy methodology
