The only true freshman that got significant playing time were Kelvin Joseph, Terrace Marshall, and JaMarr Chase. All three played well but did not stand out in the conference.

LSU normally plays a ton of Freshmen. We didn't really do that this year. The class wasn't what LSU fans have come to know, plus the top talent wasn't in positions of need... I think next year we will have alot more young contributors.

Did Justin fields see significant time in any games? The couple that I watched he just came in for some run plays a few times a game and didn’t look amazing. But my sample size is skewed and very small.. that’s why I’m asking

Didnt really have anyone play much, just spot play here and there like Kelvin Joseph at CB, Chase and Marshall at WR, Hines at LG and Baskerville at LB.
Hines played a couple hundred snaps on OL, Joseph had 12 tackles and a pass breakup at CB, Chase had 17 catches for 220 yards and 2 TD, Marshall had 12 catches for 192 yards while Baskerville with 18 tackles at LB.

Spot duty in most games, but significant in 2-3 games. I was surprised to see his name on there to be honest.
He looked really good against UMass, but...that was UMass.
