2016 Bama @ Old Miss

This is the only one of that stretch of three great games between these two that I hadn't watched in its entirety until now, and it doesn't disappoint. LINK
What were you thinking when it was 24-3 UM? Bama just started dominating after that, great coaching and mental toughness when they could've been affected by the memory of the previous year's bizarre loss. Eddie Jackson had a punt return TD and Jonathan Allen avoided the Leon Lett play on his fumble return.
Chad Kelly took an arse kicking and still fought and nearly brought UM back. Even with a minute left and Bama running out the clock, Bo Scarborough fumbled and nearly gave the Black Bears the ball at midfield only down by 5, but a UA OL recovered it
I think Chad may still be feeling the effects of some of those hits, but much respect for him LINK

I remember watching the 2015 game at a bar and telling my friend there was no way they would win two straight against Bamuh

Yeah it was almost like watching the same game twice. But Ole Miss was 6 points away from a 3peat. Crazy to think that team went 5-7

That OM team was loaded by pretty much anybody’s standard, but especially our standard. Freeze lost them the second half of the season, or hell maybe after that Bama game. For them to have gone 5-7 was a travesty.

They were tied with LSU at halftime as well I believe, but we wore them down in the 2nd half and won by like 17. They had talent but weren't as strong in the trenches as Freeze's first few teams I think

I was at the game. It was Jalen Hurts first road start. He took an incredible hit and fumbled. We took it the distance and went up 24-3. I thought there's no way this freshman comes back. Yet he did. He lead them back. I gained a tremendous amount of respect for the kid. As his career continued it continued to grow. Not sure Bama comes back in this game without him.

The next week we got up 45-0 on Georgia in complete domination.

Absolute warrior, he got beaten to a pulp several times in 2016 and still managed to keep yall in some games w/o much help from the run game. Seriously worried about his long term health after that
