2011 would be favored by about 5, and would win by about 20.

2011 LSU would win. Awesome defense.

Those 2011 Bama and LSU teams were pretty damn special

Question: Is this year's LSU team even better than their 2010 team much less their 2011 team that would have gone down as one of the top ten college football teams of all-time if they had won the MNC?

The 2015 team is without a doubt better offensively than the 2011 team.
Defense and special teams are what made the 2011 team so good. Honey Badgers don't come along too often.

By the end of the year, this team will be better then the 2011 team.
The 2011 team came out blazing, this year we're gaining steam every week. Our schedule sets up perfectly. We're about to get red hot

Offensive and defensive wise yes, better than 2010. Special teams this year are extremely bad. Worse I ever remember under Miles. It's going to cost LSU a game

This year's offense is much better than the 2010 team. I would give a slight edge to the 2010 defense, and a huge edge to the 2010 special teams. Not that there's anything wrong would being equal to the 2010 anyways. Both are/were young and exceeded everyone's expectations.
The 2011 LSU team would beat this team by 3 scores, just like the 2011 Bama team would beat this year's bama team with ease.

I don't think there's anyway 15 Bama can get anywhere close to 11 Bama

2015 LSU Offense with 2011 LSU Defense/Special Teams would've beat that 2011 National Championship Alabama in the rematch
Of course you could mix and match Alabama teams too to put them ahead again probably but that's not really the point
I'd pick the 2011 team overall their defense was so nasty they'd win on turnovers; their offense probably would get a little bit going too despite being ineffective against the Alabama defense from that year

What would be Fournettes final stat line?

Fournette vs 2011 Bama would have been fun to see

They would have eaten him up, but that's for another thread that is sure to come along in the next 3 weeks
I was asking lsu fans what they think Fournette would go for against their 11 defense in the hypothetical game laid out in OP

I looked up LSU's offensive numbers from 2011 and I'm surprised by how mediocre they were. It seemed like every time I watched them on offense, they were converting third downs and scoring TDs when they were in the red zone. They were a very efficient offensive team. Of course most of the games that I watched was when they were starting Jarrett Lee at QB. Maybe their offensive efficiency started to go down after Jordan Jefferson took over.

Beginning of year 2011 team - 8..Presently 2011 - 4..Hopefully a few more games under Harris belt it would be a Pick-em. At least that is what I would be happy with, because our 2011 team in this years National competition would have great chance to take it all.
