Though I would sit back and laugh a little if we didn't have one...and that happened to be the year Ole Miss finally won the division. Do all that and still no Atlanta.

This is def gonna screw up the schedule whether there's 13 or 14 teams. We've played the same teams the same weeks for quite awhile now, gonna be weird.

I would prefer to not play Bama first SEC game every year though if changes are made.

I haven't really kept up with the whole move at all. What's going to happen to the sec championship game?
Nothing will happen to the SECCG. Winner of the east will still play winner of the west.

I am just curious to see how the schedules work out if (as is only fair) you have to play everyone in your division. If there are 7 teams in the west and 6 in the east, west teams will have to play 9 conference games (6 against the division, 3 across). Otherwise to keep the west with only 8 SEC games, you would either have to not play one western team (how do you decide who doesn't play) or else you drop playing one eastern team (and then the east only plays 7 SEC games in that scenario).

If/when the league goes to 14 teams with 7 on each side, do we then got to 9 SEC games a year, and if so what gets sacrificed - one of the cupcake games or an annual OOC game against a big school (either a traditional rival like UGA/GT FSU/UF or the one off games in Dallas/Atlanta or the home and homes like Tenn/Oregon or Bama/PSU)

Why would it change those games? The bigger issue is why UT and NC St are playing in that game. Far and away the lamest ChikfilA game yet.
