Are you not seeing how bad the offense was at that point? UGA game was a prime example

I don't understand why people post about these.
Literally go on Youtube and you can find full or condensed versions of every major game for the last 20 years.

It’s something to have on in the background while doing stuff around the house. And it’s nice to hear Uncle Verne

I think he was referring to the fact that LSU was so good that year, he doesn't see how they could lose. But they definitely had some offensive issues. Only had 53 yards passing against Georgia in the SEC Championship game and 79 yards passing vs Bama in the natty.

Because they were #86 in total offense?

Also, I seem to remember Murray making some great passes in the first half that his WRs kept dropping.

Honey Badger and Claiborne tore shite up. It will be fun watching them play together again in KC this year.

LSU overwhelmed teams in 2011. They caused a lot of turnovers, scored 10 or 11 non-offensive TDs, and had playmakers all over the field.
It seemed Les became super conservative as the season progressed. They took no chances. In fact, they only turned over the ball 10 times, leading the nation.
It’s hard to overwhelm a team at least as equally as talented like Alabama. Plus, they actually had a QB that was able to make plays.

Georgia looked good in the first half until the ref gifting Honey Badger a TD that broke open the game.

2 dropped easy TDs would have changed the game for sure

If I remember right, it took LSU a very long time just to get a first down.
They ran all over us in the second half though.

Missed opportunities, flashes of dominance, and then running out of gas?

Exactly.UGA still had more total yards while getting beat that bad.Led at halftime (should have been a bigger lead if not for 2 dropped TD passes and a missed Chip shot FG) LSU had 12 total yards at half.Honey Badger was a one man wrecking crew that day.

A moron is someone who can watch the 2011 SECCG and National Championship games and not see that JJ was terrible. Obviously, there were other areas where LSU struggled at times, but JJ was way out of his league.
