Who's playing QB for the 2011 team?
If Lee, I can see 2011 getting enough stops and picks to win the game.
If Jefferson, the offense doesn't take advantage and loses despite a monstrous effort from the defense.
Regardless, the 2011 LSU secondary would be by and far better than any secondary 2019 LSU will see (no matter who they play in the playoffs)

Burrow wouldn't have time to throw vs the 2011 defense and his receivers wouldn't be able to get separation.

It’s crazy how different LSU and Alabama are right now compared to their 2011 counterparts. It’s a different game so I wouldn’t want to say anything too definitive. You just don’t see defenses like those very often. I haven’t watched LSU much this year but Bama’s defense is a shadow of what it once was. I think both of those 2011 teams could control the ball on offense against the 2019 teams as much as they could then and the well-rested defenses would probably feast. Just my guess.

For now, I'll take 2011. They were stupidly talented across the board.

They did Jarrett Lee wrong. I didn’t think he was that bad and they replaced him with Jordan Jefferson every chance they got. He led y’all to that great start in 2011 and then once Jefferson got back he was kicked to the curb again

As much as I like the 2019 team, I’ll have to say 2011. The Defense and Special Teams was just sick. And the offense could move the ball and score on everyone not Alabama.
I’d give 2011 the edge right now in a 27-24 type game.

2011 was electric. This LSU team is to be determined. Not sold on 2019 defense

Hell even Burrow of 2018 was an upgrade over the shite sandwich of Lee and Jefferson. That said that 2011 team was freakishly talented and some playmakers.

We beat #3 Oregon to start the year with a 98 yd passing game...
Edit: Also the SECCG with a 30 yd passing game.

I think 2011 D would blow up all that pretty stuff 2019 O runs. They’d uglify the game and win 21-17, with about 7 sacks and 3 INTs.

This offense vs. LSU’s 2011 defense would have been awesome to watch. 2011 would have a great chance because that defensive line was filthy and they had the athletes to match on the back end.
