He wasn't even close to fine. That first half was the worst football he played his entire career here.

Weird.

Saban said he was fine.

No limp.

Tua may have had a bad first half, but he threw the ball for 420 yards in that game. He had a solid/ok game

He had two turnovers vs Clemson in the first half.

The fumble going in for a score changed a lot. So did all the picks. That was not a sharp Tua. He did manage to shake off the rust in the 2nd half but it was too little too late.

You are probably right. Tua is scary good and going to be the 5 player taken in the draft. He is a left handed Drew Brees

How about an in-depth discussion of this match

Did you honestly think this board was even remotely capable of this?

Why did Jordan Jefferson beat Alabama in 2010 and 2011? The answer to that question answers the 2019 LSU question. He beat them by getting to the edge bc the end and outside LBs had no lateral speed. 2019 would put up 50 on 2011 Alabama. Book it. Alabama May score 21-28 on slow , drawn out drives, but Joe B and the boys would kill that defense on the edges, then take the top off with a scheme route like they did to 2019 or a couple QB draws. Not even close.

He only threw one pick.

Joe had a fumble that got you in much better field position than Tua's gave LSU.

If Joe doesnt fumble it was setting up to be 40-13.

Beat the shite out of him when it really mattered, didn't they?

This is something I want to talk about... LSUs 2011 offense could be absolutely inept at times. I could point out quite a few games where special teams was the bigger part of the 2/3rds of our team than offense was.

What I want to mention is just how fricking amazing that 2011 LSU defense was. Their own offense couldn’t slap box it’s way across the fifty, and it wasn’t ALL Alabama’s Defense. Not taking anything away from that really tough defense, but LSU screwed up every opportunity it had in that game.

Anyway, having it’s offense never cross the 50, the LSU defense held Alabama to field goals all game until finally giving up a “squirt outside” td late in the game. It’s actually fricking remarkable.

Again though, LSU 2019 beats that team like a drum

Uhhhhh, Tua wasn’t going to score on the fumble play, and at best y’all would have attempted a field goal. Lmao

I don't know if mustering 6 points in regulation is the reason LSU won that game.

JJ won because LSU kept Alabama kicking the ball further than the FG kicker could manage, forcing OT. His 6-10 for 67 yards, and 11 carries for 43 yards, were hardly game breaking. He just didn't throw two picks like Lee did.

Would be a hell of a match up, our 2011 team split with y’all and our 2019 team would beat 2011 IMO

It’s like saying,

“Who would win in a fight between a tomato and a flute.”

You can’t have an in-depth discussion because the topic is utterly ridiculous in every way
