Why should they do that? Consistently isn't required on the rant. LSU fans manage to claim that A&M finished 3rd in the west in 2012, were basketball co-champs with Kentucky a few years ago, and that LSU finished tied for 2nd in the West this last year. Consistency is optional on the rant.

Only a born loser would trade 13 years of pure garbage for a one 10 win season and not even go to Atlanta. So in your mind set an SEC title would be worth 50 years of misery.
