Just broke the Eagles record for receptions in a season by a WR as well. He's pretty good.

A lot of people thought maybe it was a fluke season and that he wouldn't be able to cut it in the NFL. Turns out the guy is just dang good. He may break a lot of records in the Nfl.

*for receivers only

Ertz still has the record. Smith also has an extra game already.

Would have gone for more if he didn't dislocate his finger at the start of the 3rd Q.

quote:

Smith had an insanely productive first half, catching 12 receptions for 215 yards and three touchdowns. Yet just two plays into the start of the third quarter, he suffered a gruesome finger injury that forced him out of the rest of the game. Smith was trying to rein in a bobbled pass when he was tackled by a defender.

During the play, Smith’s right index finger was jammed awkwardly against his defender’s side. Doctors soon diagnosed it as a dislocation. According to Sports Illustrated, they spent around 25 minutes trying to get the finger back into its socket — without success. And so, although Smith was eager to get back into the game, his coaches had no choice but to hold him out.

LSU fans amuse me.

Alabama player rescues kittens.
Alabama fan: "Look at this player rescuing kittens."
LSU fan: "*! Guy didn't rescue puppies as well."

DeVonta Smith while very talented, also has the heart and determination to do what he's done.

Great person and player.

LSU fans can’t decide if they should take the “covid year” route or “he’s from Louisiana” route. Hilarious

Cool. Unfortunately this thread is about DeVonta having the best college receiving season ever.

I’ll be honest, I thought he was a baller but would be limited by hurts as his QB. Turns out I was wrong bc hurts has been phenomenal so far.

Justin Jefferson went for 14-227-4 in a playoff game in which his team "called off the dogs" in the third quarter. And he did it all in a real season against full rosters and loud, full stadiums.

He's now breaking NFL records in his third season as a pro. There is really no comparison between the two.

I forgot posting factual information is frowned upon here.

I didnt say anything about LSU, just gave the correct information.

Your raper mind just constantly thinks about LSU. Its very weird.
