Punches tickets to NCAA regionals by winning conference. Tulane steals some bubble teams bid.

I would think they headed to Wake Forest.

Gonna be interesting what they do with Tulane and FAMU.

I think FAMU is a no-brainer for Florida, but that fits into the seeding projections too. Tulane seed-wise lines up for Wake Forest, but would be perfect fodder for LSU.

Charlotte is up 5-2 over DBU in the 8th. That would be another stolen bid. Water down the tourney.

10 SEC teams getting in the tourney with 7 being host. Could we see 5+ teams in Omaha this year?

Sure, why not. There were 4 SEC teams last year. 6 SEC teams if you include future members, Texas and OU.

I spent the whole week in '97 at the old Rosenblatt. You had 4 SEC West teams in Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miss St. That was cool.

4 SEC teams in Omaha every year should be the norm. 5 shouldn't be suprising in years to come.

Also Charlotte just stole a bid by winning C-USA over Dallas Baptist. One bubble team just got axed.
