He was a hell of a player while at AU, was also a great recruiter while here. Can't say he was too good a WR coach, but what can ya do..

Always enjoyed watching Craig play, he could put on a show.

Used to spend about 2 weekends each month at AU visiting friends. occasionally you'd see him at a party. pretty cool dude (or at least was back then). drove a mazda rx7 in 1996 or 1997 that was a really sweet ride for that time

Craig entered the game late fourth quarter with Auburn up and running out the clock.
As the offense lined up a defensive back approached the line of scrimmage. My section could tell Craig was calling an audible and we were all saying "NO, don't do it." Craig threw a long pass. A play of two later the game ended and the East Carolina coach would not shake hands with Bowden. He must have thought Auburn was trying to run up the score.
We figured Craig must have been chewed out at practice for not calling an audible for a pass when a defender cheated up.
